The second edition of the festival, held in 2024 at Freo.Social in Fremantle, featured some of Australia’s top-tier music acts including Psycroptic, Suldusk and Dyssidia, among others. The festival is known for its high-energy atmosphere and a lineup that caters to a wide range of heavy music tastes, making it a must-attend event for fans of the genre.

Electric Eye Heavy Fest was founded and organised by Jessica Ieritano, whose passion for the heavy music scene shaped the festival’s creation. With her background as a Music Photographer and Videographer, Jess brought her unique perspective to the event. Her love for capturing the raw energy of live performances and her experience in working closely with musicians fuelled her vision for the festival, ensuring it not only celebrates the music, but also fosters a strong sense of community within the scene.

The festival has quickly become a key fixture in Perth's live music calendar.
